Go Mate is a guided university-housing service in Spain. It helps students find a shared flat, compatible flatmates and vetted homes, and helps landlords rent their properties to university students with more safety, closeness and human guidance throughout the process.

Go Mate helps students and landlords, but it doesn’t just show listings. Behind it are real people who understand what you need and guide you throughout the whole university rental process.
For a student, that means not being alone with an endless list of flats. For a landlord, it means renting to verified students with someone who brings order and mediates the communication.

For the landlord, renting your property with Go Mate has no cost: we help you fill it with verified students and guide you through the process. You set the rent.

Is Go Mate free?
For the student it’s a paid service, with different plans depending on how much support you want. Talking to us and getting advice costs nothing: you only pay if you decide to go ahead. For the landlord, renting their property with Go Mate has no cost.
Is Go Mate a marketplace or a listings portal?
No. A portal leaves you alone with thousands of ads. Go Mate is a guided service: we manually vet the homes and the landlords, and a real person helps you from start to finish. No traditional estate agency, with Go Mate’s guidance.
Do you find my flatmates for me?
We don’t assign you anyone: you decide. On the Full plan you have a tool to search and filter possible flatmates yourself by studies, tastes and interests, and choose who you want to live with. We don’t promise perfect flatmates; we help you choose with more information.
What does it mean that a flat is “verified”?
It means we check every home and the landlord before offering it to you. We don’t show you a place we haven’t vetted. Vetting doesn’t remove all risks, but it gives you more information before you decide.
