What Go Mate is
Go Mate is a guided service for university housing in Spain. It helps you find a room in a shared flat and choose compatible flatmates yourself, and it helps landlords rent their property to verified students. It’s a paid service: talking to us and getting advice costs nothing; you only pay if you decide to go ahead.
What Go Mate is not
It’s not just a listings portal or a traditional estate agency. A portal leaves you alone with thousands of ads; an agency works for the landlord. What makes Go Mate different is the human guidance, the manual check of every home and staying close to you throughout the process.
Who it’s for
For university, international and Erasmus students looking for housing in Spain; for landlords with student housing; and for families who want more safety and peace of mind during the process.
What it does
You’re given a coordinator who understands what you need, reviews profiles, verifies the homes and the landlord, makes communication easier and stays with you on WhatsApp, phone, email or video call —in your language— until the rental is closed and the keys are in your hand. To choose flatmates, it gives you a tool to search and filter yourself by studies, tastes and interests, and decide who you live with.
What it doesn’t guarantee
Go Mate reduces uncertainty and builds trust, but it doesn’t promise that nothing will ever go wrong, nor does it replace the legal obligations of each party. The rental contract is between student and landlord; we help you understand it and sign with confidence. We’re not a visa, insurance or transport agency: our field is housing and people.

How do you help me find a flat?expand_more
You tell us which city you’ll study in, your dates, budget and what you’re after. We study your case in detail. We check the available homes at the right time so we can send you, personally and directly, verified options that fit you. From the first message until you have the keys, a real person guides you on WhatsApp, phone or email.
Do you find my flatmates for me?expand_more
We don’t assign you anyone: you decide. Inside the platform you have a tool to search and filter possible flatmates yourself by studies, tastes and interests, and choose who you want to live with. This flatmate search is available on the Full plan.
What does it mean that the flats are “verified”?expand_more
It means we check every home and the landlord before offering it to you, so you can sign with peace of mind. We don’t show you a place we haven’t checked first.
What language do you help me in?expand_more
In yours: Spanish, Italian or English. We’re students helping students, and you’re looked after by a person who speaks your language from the very first message, on WhatsApp, phone or email.

Renting out your home and helping you fill it with verified students costs you nothing. You set the rent. If any condition were to change, we’d always tell you first, no small print. We’re happy to guide you on market prices and work together so your rental goes as well as possible.
How do I list my property?expand_more
Message us on WhatsApp or create your landlord account, and we’ll guide you to upload your property with photos, price, availability and the details students value most. We have a fast upload process, tested by hundreds of landlords, so we can show the full listing to students while we talk with you and filter them.
What responsibility do you take on?expand_more
We guide, verify and mediate, but the rental contract is between landlord and student. We reduce uncertainty; we don’t replace each party’s legal obligations.
